Nostalgia reigns in downtown Punta Gorda.  When Steve Feineigle purchased the old gas station on the corner of US 41 North and Olympia in 2003 he wanted to establish a business that was something to be proud of.  What better way than with murals?  After a slight delay when Hurricane Charley visited us, work commenced and Classics of the Past was born.

Steve’s Auto Shoppe features four murals on a building painted in 50’s style highlighting authentic classic cars of the past.  On the three services bay doors fronting on US 41 North are a classy red 1957 Thunderbird, a beautiful 1957 Chevrolet and a vintage 1948 Ford.  On the Olympia side of the Shoppe is a 1932 Ford Coupe Street Rod.

These are all stunning cars that we can remember and ones that must be considered Classic Cars of the past!
