Classics Of The Past

Nostalgia reigns in downtown Punta Gorda.  When Steve purchased the old gas station on the corner of US41 north and Olympia in 2003 he wanted to establish a business that was something to be proud of on the old site and what better way than murals.  After a slight delay when we were visited by Hurricane Charley, work commenced and Classics of the Past was born.  Steve’s Auto Shoppe features four murals on a building painted in 50’s style highlighting authentic classic cars of the past.  On the three service bay doors fronting on US 41N are a classy red 1957 Thunderbird, a beautiful 1957 Chevrolet and a vintage1948 Ford.  On the Olympia side of the Shoppe is a 1932 Ford Coupe Street Rod.
